This is an exquisite French Jaeger Petite Neuchateloise musical alarm clock pre 1903. I believe this clock was made before the LeCoultre name entered into business with :
The Coming together of Jaeger & LeCoultre
In 1903, the Parisian Edmond Jaeger challenged the Swiss to manufactureultra-thin calibers of his own design. Jacques-David LeCoultre, grandson of Antoine undertook the challenge.
It is a antique French provincial cream color with brass embellishments on the front of the clock. It has roman numeral numbers in black on a separate ring inside the clock. It has gold hands including the alarm hand. It has a silent ticking and runs for days. The alarm is a delicate music box tune, probably French. It meas. approx. 6-1/2″ tall, 4″ wide at the base and is a little over 1-1/2″ deep. The clock is metal and weighs 1-1/2 lbs. It is probably very rare and worth every penny.
